Nonprofit Central is Greater New Orleans' hub of activity for non-profits that seek to exchange expertise and increase opportunities to collaborate to help the citizens of the Greater New Orleans area recover, renew and rebuild. Nonprofit Central promotes collaboration among key sectors and partners to stimulate innovation and growth, and help deliver social, cultural, and economic benefits to all New Orleanians. Funded by donations from foundations and corporate America, Nonprofit Central is dedicated to re-establishing a vibrant and diverse non-profit sector that continues to address the pressing needs of individuals and communities. Nonprofit Central is a strategic initiative of the Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations, and collaboration between many partnering organizations.

The Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations (LANO) is a statewide network of nonprofits, foundations and individuals representing every region of our state, dedicated to the vision of strong, accountable, efficiently run nonprofits fulfilling every need in Louisiana. With nearly 1000 members, and branch offices opening across the state, its mission is to strengthen, promote and build the capacity of Louisiana's nonprofit sector through education, advocacy and member services. LANO provides leadership, resources and forums to strengthen Louisiana's communities one nonprofit at a time
